A special Father's day / Une fête des pères spéciale

June 21st was Father’s day. To celebrate Eric’s first Daddy’s day, we all went for a train ride from White River Junction to Thretford in an old train car. The round trip lasted about 2hrs and allowed us to have a great view of the Connecticut river. That was Paul’s first train ride and he loved it! He refused to nap during the entire time… “too many things to look at and discover” he said. His eyes were going everywhere, trying to memorize as much as possible.

Here are a couple of shots from the trip.

Le 21 juin était la fête des Pères. Pour célébrer sa première fête, Paul et moi avons emmené Eric pour faire une balade en train de White River Junction à Thretford dans un vieux wagon. L’aller et retour a duré deux heures et nous a permis d’avoir une très bonne vue de la rivière Connecticut. C’était le premier voyage en train pour Paul et il a adoré. Il a refusé de faire la sieste pendant tout le trajet… “il y a trop de choses à regarder et à découvrir”, dit-il. Ses yeux étaient partout, à essayer de mémoriser le plus de choses possibles.
