Here are some pictures of the Walk-A-Thon that we participated in as a family earlier this month to support the New Hampshire Association for the Blind.
The day was amazingly gorgeous and the boys had a great time outside, walking, playing and enjoying the company of the few service dogs present there.

Here is a picture from last week-end.
We were watching a short movie on the TV. The boys were really focused.

Paul has received quite a few toys for Christmas and his birthday (Mr is already 2), but his favorite so far is Mr Potato.
Thank you Auntie!

Merci Tata!

As it is never too late to do well, here is a picture of Luke, our second boy born on October 15 2010. Luke is now a little over 3 months old and is growing well. He is a very smiley baby and loves company.

Last week was Bastille day (July 14) and Paul drew (with Daddy’s help) his own interpretation of the French flag.

There was more paint on his fingers and face than on the paper, but it was his true first attempt at drawing, so it actually was pretty good.

It has been way too long since I posted anything and I apologize for that. Time goes and it looks like I never can catch it!
Anyway, many things have happened since my last post.
Paul is now walking on his own, he decided when he just turned 15 months old that now was the time to be independent and off he went!
He is a happy little boy who does not stop walking and almost running all day long.
He is still growing fast and is getting a lot of his premolars as we speak, but he still smiles about it.

Paul has been enjoying the Summer. We went to visit his grand-parents in Maine a few times and have been lucky with the weather.

We also went to France at the end of May and he loved to play with the sand of the English Channel.

Paul is growing well. He has now done some steps by himself but he still prefers the cruising mode.
A friend of ours took a series of really good pictures of the little guy, so here is one.

Paul grandit bien.

I just got the link to see the trailer of a new documentary called “Nos enfants nous accuseront”(Our children will accuse us). It is a French documentary but the trailer is entirely subtitled in English. Apparently, it is not sure yet whether it will be released in theaters, but the authors hope that by having as many people as possible going to the trailer page, they will have enough weight to convince the distributors.
After watching the trailer, it looks like what they show about France can be applied anywhere in the world… industrial, mass production of food forces the farmers to use tons of chemicals that lead to more and more diseases in Humans. On speaker at UNESCO claimed that the new generation will be less healthy than our generation… looking at what’s going on, I can believe it.
Having good, nutritious, healthy food should be everybody’s priority and especially when you have to feed children.
Fortunately, more and more people know that organic food is better than “traditionally” grown food (even if few scientific reports show that for sure). Organic food is still a bit more expensive and not as available than “traditional” food, but hopefully with a growing demand, it will become more available… although we also need to pay attention as to how the organic food was produced. Producing organic food without using sustainable techniques and good treatment of the cattle is not worth it.
We need to take good care of the world in order to make sure that it takes good care of us.

About 2 weeks ago, Paul has turned 1!
Already! Time flies…
He enjoyed tremendously some vanilla ice cream as well as some cake.
Paul is doing great and getting ready to walk but is not quite there yet.

Il y a environ 2 semaines, Paul a eu 1 an!

Well, it has been a while since my last post. Time flies and it is tough to catch it!
Anyhow, Paul is growing fast. He is now 11 months old and ready to walk soon. He is a fast crawler and cruises so well along anything that he can hang on.
I am attaching two recent pictures. On the first, he is playing with his activities table. The second one was taken just few days ago when he got baptized.
